Evolved Revolution pt 2

1.      Why does your origin make you worth more than anyone else?

Where you came from matters to you and no one else. Immigrant, indigenous, conqueror, defector, are all part of one another and each other as a unified whole. The native American population was decimated because of differing beliefs and an unjustified sense of entitlement. So, do we now treat immigrants the same way. What if one of those immigrants has a dream and that dream could shape the world, but implementation is impossible where they are from due to oppressive conditions or political circumstances? Why not let them plead their case, allowing them a transitional place to stay until a determination of value can be made?

If they have a plan and a means of support, then why not let them enter our ranks and better us as a people? That oft-passed vagrant talking to himself, covered in his own feces and holding a mange covered Yorkie, could he not possess relevant and intriguing thoughts? Clean that man up, medicate his mental illness, get him temporary housing and a job that can give him purpose and see what he is capable of. If there is any chance that he may be able to cure cancer, don’t we owe those dying from cancer to see if it’s possible.

Does the pregnant teen kicked from her home need to live on the streets? Why does she have to consider abortion? The parents should take care of that child and the child she carries, however, if they cannot then the rest of us must be ready to help in any way we can. That child deserves a chance to fulfill its purpose, but at the same time that same young woman knows herself and her choice must be considered and honored. If a judge can determine whether someone is guilty of rape and murder, then perhaps they should be the one to see a woman’s right to choose is justified on a case by case basis. If not, then the act is unlawful and should be treated as such.

The mother, the father, their parents and the doctor should all hold some responsibility based on the circumstances. No matter the circumstances of ones birth, their sub-overpass domicile or even their opinions and viewpoints, all human thoughts should be reviewed assuming they have merit and validity, any other way is a disservice to us all, diminishing us as a whole.
