Dearest Alex,
If I were not around for some reason then I want you to know how I feel about you, so I wrote this for you. You are so much more than just my daughter. Your mother is who I fell in love with, but you created this family. You may not have my blood in your veins, but you hold my heart in yours. Know that I am often confused by you, but I am certain of my love for you.
You are a princess, a diva, a treasure and a secret that no one deserves to know, but will someday be uncovered. Forget what anyone ever says about arrogance. You are above everyone else and you deserve everything. Respect everyone's unique views and rights, but never forget that you are superior to them. You are the so remarkable and I am excited every time I think about the opportunities that will be available to you.Sing, dance, create and love no matter what is thrown in front of you to deal with. I may not always want you to do it right next to me, or without permission, but I am proud of your accomplishments. I will never leave you. In death and life I will always love you with a unique part of soul.
Thank you my daughter. You must know that I am may not be perfect (I know it shocked me too), but I do have the perfect daughter. Your faults and problems are as much why I love you as your accomplishments or talents. Your father always loves you.
Above all else, I want you to be happy and enjoy the time you have as my little girl necause it wont last forever, no matter how I much I wish it could. I will gladly be your shield and take the brunt of the stones hurled at you in life. I will be your wall to hide behind if ever you need to hide from the harsher realities of life.
